Saddened to read this... I was banned there years ago because I posted a threatining and vile PM from one of the two pos Marks cheerleaders when she refused to take any action.

We had our disagreements but she was a pioneer in the message board world and horse industry in particular, and was very outspoken on the issues of horse slaughter and protection. I believe she was a good individual with the best wishes and intentions at heart for the horse and that makes her a good person.

Sincere condolences to her friends and family.

Doc Moore has driven and trained his entire life, if he went in 49 it's because he wanted to go in 49. The man is an excellent horseman and has trained a lot of good horses - Shadow Play comes to mind.

My guess is the horse was a little short, but 49 is an impressive qualifier and as he correctly pointed out, he will need to go that fast against the other Bearcats anyway.

I think you'll see State Treasurer win his first start back. I'll be watching.
