We are proud to introduce a brand new sponsor of In The Sulky, DarkHorseBet.com
I have known the Trish, director of marketing for about 35 years, (since she was about 3) and ran into her at the Little Brown Jug. After speaking briefly, Trish offered me something I could not refuse: the opportunity for me to test out the site and see it's great features, plus she has offered a great deal for all InTheSulky forum members! Simply put, Dark Horse Bet blows away the competition!
First of all, anyone joining the site through InTheSulky will get an immediate 20% bonus to all funds deposited on their initial deposit. No B.S., you deposit $100, you get an extra $20. Deposit $500, get an extra $100 free, and so forth. This money is immediately credited to your account!
That's not all. Each Friday, you get rebates posted to your account based on your wagering activity for the week! Above all of this, every dollar is put into the tracks' pools wherever you wager!
I urge everyone to try out DarkHorseBet.com! The best way to make your deposit is to call Trish and give her the "Inthesulky" promotional code and make a deposit through your checking account, get your 20% free money, and fire away!

Thanks for all the warm words and compliments. Unfortunately there are a few states that are not allowing people from their state to join sites and play.....Illinois is one. Choice and convenience is a big reason people want the option to play on-line. Can't make it to the track or aren't in the vicinity of a track etc. Racetracks would actually be expanding their audience and gaining new fans and horseplayers if they would only see the possibilities of getting the product out there and making it more available. Plus, by giving the player a decent cash back reward you are taking care of their audience and encouraging larger handle by the churn that is created when you give back a few extra bucks! For now, sadly Illinois residents are out> Canadian citizens are not allowed to play on any Canadian content with an ADW. I believe it is an issue with the Canadian Pari-Mutuel Wagering Agency. However all Darkhorsebet members may watch and wager on the Breeder's Crown races this Saturday from Woodbine and earn cash back rewards!

Thank you for clarifying things Trish! Sorry, Illinois guys-you need an out of state addesss.
Surely should not be too hard to get a post office box in Indiana!
Speaking with Trish on the phone this afternoon, she informed me that Canadian residents can indeed sign up by phone only, but will get the same 20% sign-up bonus just by mentioning "inthesulky". The only difference is our northern neighbors will have to bet exclusively on US tracks.

Welcome laddie.. You might be better off starting a whole new thread in this section of the board and I guarntee you will get an answer. There are many astute handicappers here who would be able to accurately answer your question.

I'm not certain where you are seeing these -9, -5, etc. Could you explain more?

The Bigger the Negative number, the faster the track was playing that night. So if you were looking at the Meadowlands program on sat, you would of seen the Big M was rated a -10 the week before. It is the number they use to compute the horses actual speed rating for that night. The + numbers will mean the track was playing slow that night, 0 is what the track is considered normal for the class and the time of the year.
Gary, if you look at the program, it is the number listed right after the driver and in between that and the 3 horses that were 1st 2nd and 3rd.

Thanks buddy. I never blow the programs up enough to even read that number. rflmao1

pezz97,
Thank you very much. I thought that was how it was interrupted but after reading some other programs I was confused. The Daily Racing Form is now selling HARNESS PAST PERFORMANCES and their explanation was confusing at least for me.
Again thank you very much

If anyone on here is playing Dark Horse please send me a pm and let me know your opinion.....thank you!
