Shocking news...way too young. Roger was a valued friend and he loved harness racing. Father of Brandon and Keith. I'll miss my friend and good times we had. RIP, Roger. Thoughts & prayers are extended to all of the Bartley's. More details as they are available.

Gave me a number of drives in my Billings days and was always very encouraging despite my lack of talent.
Prayers to the family.
Pete Heffering also passed in the last day.

They say it comes in threes. Roger, Pete and now Geoff Stein, one of the driving forces of our business, running Preferred Equine Marketing and the Lexington Sales. Also co-owned Moni Maker. A great eulogy from Bill Finley here:

Let's hope this is a better week for all involved in our sport. 3 deaths of quality people in the past week......terrible. Roger, would have been 45 years old later this year. redrose
