The Meadows Racetrack & Casino announced that on Monday, March 5, it will introduce a wager called the "50/50 Pick 5,

No problem. I like they start off with a guarantee with this bet.

Couldn't posting your 50/50 Pick 5 picks cost you the entire pool should someone decide to play all or part of your picks, potentially duplicating and thereby negating what might have been the only winning ticket?

Correct.

When the Pick 6 pool got really big and a bunch of us went partners together from here, Gary didn't post what we had played till after the first leg was off
