Damn shame. She was one of the most talented and beautiful women I have ever seen, but she couldn't overcome her demons.

I hope she is in peace wherever she is. redrose

Lifestyles took so many talented people before their time: Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin, Mama Cass Elliott, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Whitley, Freddie Mercury, on and on and on.

So sad.

MSM had a live link to Whitneys memorial. I clicked it on. I heard a minister sing her praise. I then was listening to a gospel song being belted out when I saw Jessie Jackson sitting  next to the podium. 4pezz2 4pezz2 4pezz2 4pezz2 4pezz2

JJ,Sr showed up at the site of the mess at the "E" nightclub on the south side of Chicago when several people died in a stampede to get out of the club during a ruckus and the exit doors were locked. He pulled up in his luxury car, in front of the cameras, and tossed his keys to the closest cop, and said, "Park my car." The cop suggested something that would take a contortionist to achieve and threw the Good Reverand's keys on the sidewalk and walked away. When JJ started asking the fellow cops for the name & badge number of the rude officer, it was amazing that none of them recognized their own PRECINCT CAPTAIN, and couldn't identify him. Came out later that the club had a bunch of previous citations for safety violations, but since they were friends of Jackson they hadn't been enforced.

He's a piece of work.

Noah I believe who had a bunch of BKs(Burger King) extorted for him by the good Rev., step-brother, who got involved in dealing drugs with a bunch of gang-bangers, from North Carolina to Chicago..
Scumbag that he was...
By the way if Jesse was there where was Al ?  Not far from his home turf.
