I was pressed into running over to Arizona to buy Powerball tickets this afternoon. Stopped at Pamela's for a few hours, then headed back to Las Vegas.
Driving along route 215 in the far left lane, probably doing 10 mph over the limit, when I see a cop car getting onto the freeway. I slowed down to 70 mph and then see several other cars and suvs getting on behind the police car, except their lights were all flashing.
I figured screw it, I got on the gas and here comes some unmarked suv with lights flashing and a dude frantically waving out the back window at me. I thought "screw this" and took off, playing dumb. I figured it was a late afternoon funeral or something unimportant, so I got the hell out of there. Just then I notice the reason for the motorcade: Mitt Romney was on his bus being escorted into the far left lane behind me.
I figured the guy who was waving at me was probably secret service. Glad I didn't let them go by or I'd still be stuck in Henderson, of course. 4pezz2

I remember when I was in Chattanooga, TN several years back...needed to drive to Nashville to catch a flight home...found out there were going to close the interstate because President Bush ("W") was passing though...I got in the car and jumped on the highway and, somehow, the entrance ramp I used must have been the only "unmanned" ramp...as I merged onto the highway, I can see the motorcade in my rearview mirror...and ALL of the other ramps were blocked with cop cars and cops also manned the overpasses on sniper alert.
