Title: World Series
Post by: CharlieH on October 22, 2011, 09:14:51 PM
Albert Pujols can hit a little bit  bowdown

If he does not re-sign with the Cardinals this city will be devastated.

I guess he made up for whatever he messed up the night before.

My little buddy JS is being awful quiet about his Redbirds   8)

I think he turned down more than that before the season started.

After the 2nd homer why even pitch to him ?

In the history of baseball, only Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson, and Albert Pujos have hit 3 home runs in 1 World Series game. That's a pretty elite fraternity. I wonder what they'll name the new candy bar?

I've been working on other stuff while having the game on TV. My tiny little 3rd grade mind has a hard time computing that The Cardinals are NOT the ones with red hats, helmets, gloves, and stockings. I'll hear the crowd or announcer get excited and look at the TV and say,"Woohoo... shit!" When I'm King all teams will only wear only one uniform at all times so the Idiot King can keep track of who's who.

Wow, Holland is still throwing 96mph smoke in his 9th inning. Impressive.

The fact that FOX employs two Cardinal smudges as their national play-by-play team is disgusting.
The ONLY reason Jobuc is even employed is due to the success his father had in St. Louis and McCarver was, is, and will be a Cardinal apologist and/or a general "hack".
Rumor has it that Scotty Boros has been seen talking to Epstein recently. Now that'll turn some panties into knots.

Have not been very interested but tuned in last night around the 5th inning. Agree with all the posters. One of the most intense roller coaster rides (where I did not have a rooting interest) I have ever seen.

One of the most exciting baseball games I've ever seen. Certainly didn't hurt that my favorite team won.

My emotions went on quite a roller-coaster ride watching it.

Talk about gut wrenching, Texas has to feel sick and all the momentum is

now with the Cardinals. Tony IMO is the smartest manager that has been

in baseball in my lifetime not that that had anything to do with the win

last night. Good Luck to the Redbirds and JS.
