As my buddy once said, "excuses are like @ssholes, everybody's got one". rflmao1

At this point of the season who is NOT playing hurt ?
It was a mental mistake that cost him/49ers in the 4th qtrl.

Billy Cundiff certainly comes off as the much more noble figure, as he faced reporters last night after the Ravens' loss and again today, and said there was no excuse for missing on that kick.
How did a shoulder problem impact Williams' bonehead decision to stand right next to a bouncing ball that he apparently had no intention of fielding. They say he was already filling in for Ginn, but they could have found someone else after he made that first mistake.
The Patriots use Julian Edelman to field punts. He isn't close to being the fastest guy on the team, but he was a college quarterback, and makes intelligent decisions. He's also got sure hands and a fearless nature. Over the years we've seen lots of coaches pass over the flashy speed demon who makes questionable decisions in favor of a Julian Edelman when choosing a punt returner. If you can get it all in one package--Ginn is lightning fast--all the better.

I really didn't know that he was Kenny Williams,' GM of the White Sox , son. Last iIheard of him he was picked up for shoplifting, or some such thing several years ago.

You are correct Hal. He is a Plainfield boy in my neck of the woods. Makes for some good convos at the bars here. rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1
