Not as disappointed as I will be if the Giants beat the Ravens in the superbowl.   I told people at work at the beginning of the playoffs thats what it would be.  Also told gary that he should bet the giants instead of his other picks on the site.

After the game Brady talked about how badly he sucked today. He'll be after redemption in Indy.

The Indy turf will definately help NE IMO.

If it's NE vs SF I'm on NE.
If it's NE vs NY I'm on the OVER.

Especially against the Giants.  Brady has been kicking himself for 4 years for letting that one get past him.  He will be as motivated to work his butt off as ever.

Should be a great game.

Ravens-Pats game today was one of the best you'll see anywhere.  Refs stayed out of it & that was a pleasure.  Close hard hitting game between the top 2 teams in the AFC.  Lee Evans with a major "ouch", which wins it if he simply hangs on.  And then Cundiff... although that only gets them into OT so no guarantees but Evans - much bigger mistake, IMO.

2nd game was a dandy too! I had to vacate the house 'cause my Bride wanted to watch some PBS British Royalty thingy from another century, and we lost the two other tv's due to the analog/digital switchover. So being a great guy, I went to a bar to watch the last quarter. Thanks to the OT, I got to see more football and drink more beer.

The four final teams were incredibly closely matched. That makes for great viewing. Too bad the Cowboys weren't in the mix.

Should be a good Super Bowl. I hope it stays close the entire game.

Kyle Williams was a big time goat in the second game, allowing the ball to hit his knee on a punt in the fourth quarter and fumbling another in overtime. On the other hand, he was filling in for Ted Ginn Jr and had only returned two punts during the regular season, so it was a dicey proposition to send him out there again after allowing the ball to hit his knee. I realize that he had a good return between the two bonehead plays, but that first mistake was a serious blunder. If you

When the Giants were six and six I believe they were 100-1 to win the SB, and not very long ago they were still 50-1. I wonder how many tri-staters bet them at those odds.....It looks like the game is 3/3.5.

Was it just me or why didn't John Harbaugh call time out to give his kicker more time ?
Looked to me like he was rushed.Even so that was a LOUSY KICK.

Pats are favored by 3 and the over under is 55. When they played each other in week 8, the Pats turned the ball over 4 times. I don't expect that to happen again, I like NE

Me too, Pezz.

The last 4 times the Super Bowl match up was a repeat of a match up earlier in the season, the regular season winner lost in the big game.  After "sucking" yesterday, Brady will be at his best, IMO & he cannot be beaten when he's at his best.

Pats also became just the 3rd team in post season history to lose the turnover battle by 2 or more & still win the game.  You have a 94% chance of losing when you're -2 or more in turnovers in NFL post season history.

I think you're right about NE. Shaping up to be a pretty good SB.

I think that the Giants have a date with destiny, they sure came out of the clouds to get here.

Agree, deja vu all over again (2007)

Especially against the Giants.  Brady has been kicking himself for 4 years for letting that one get past him.  He will be as motivated to work his butt off as ever.

Agree with this too. Just don't think NE can win a defensive battle so you gotta think it will be a shoot-out. Belichick knows this too. The dome/turf will guarantee a fast track. I thought the total would be closer to 60 so 55 seems low to me.

NE/OVER is my first thought.

Ne and under.  Absolutely love the under.

Ne and under.  Absolutely love the under.

2nd meetings are usually somewhat opposite of the 1st meeting which was 24-20.  That would suggest a higher scoring game which suits NE better than the Giants, IMO.

NE & over for me but I'm not putting my money where my mouth is.   idunno

Actually a much better bet would be NFC -4 & over the 73.5 in the Pro Bowl, which is just a showcase for the offenses.  NFC has a huge QB edge with Rodgers & Brees.  Defenses are not allowed to blitz so Aaron & drew will be cha-ching all day.

Dolfan, I totally agree on the Pro Bowl. NFC has all the talent
