Hal,
FWIW, I've read in the Craps Forums, that multiple casinos in Vegas are implementing parking fees.
Although the idea is absurd, it's no different than the Daily Resort Fees tacked on to your room rate that have been going on for some time.
There on casino (in the east somewhere) on the Craps Forums spoken of that charges an admission fee ;)

Anyone with a Pearl card or higher parks for free. You have nothing to worry about.
This parking policy is just one more incidence of corporate people falling completely out of touch with reality.Top corporate people surround themselves with yes men and women who blindly agree with everything they are suggested to agree with.

Who do I have to blow to get a Pearl card ;)
Not that I've any plans for visiting Vegas.
Won't my M-Life card work?

There are 5 different levels of an MLife card. Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum, and Noir (the highest).
You just have to move up out of the Sapphire group.

Gary, how much do you have to lose to get free parking that costs a few bucks?
I stayed in a suite at the Borgata in Atlantic City earlier this year with a friend who received free parking for both of us, the free suite for the evening, and a comped delicious meal at The Old Homestead.
My buddy got all the free stuff and spent several hours at the $200 minimum blackjack table. I believe he dropped $8,000 for the comps that were worth tons less.
I would prefer to pay.

Right you are!! Pay for what you want and save money. The perks and comps are only a small part of what you can lose.

It doesn't take a lot to be a pearl member at all... I am a pearl member and I wouldn't call myself a big gambler at the tables. The sportsbook doesn't count to the M life.

Jordan, I know you. Who are you bullshitting? You know damned well you'd rather pay nothing and let your friend get everything comped than to pay for everything. rflmao1
Seriously, it is very simple to become a Pearl member. a) go sign up for a card. b) Sign up for an Mlife MasterCard. If you are accepted, you are the proud holder of a Pearl card.

If one is worried about $10/day for parking you probably have no business being there in the first place.

It's not the money it's the principle of the thing. Because I won't pay $50 to get into some club to buy $20 drinks they are going to frost my ass some other way. I didn't go when I had a diamond card and I'm not doing it now. I say bet what you want and hope you win and pay for everything else. It really is cheaper that way. They can take there credit card and shove it. I use Polish credit cards--stacks of $100 bills.

Hal - my comment was not directed at you, but in the big picture the $10 is insignificant IMO.
Speaking of the principle of the thing, last week they converted my usual path to work - The Elgin Ohare Expressway - to a toll road. I'LL BE DAMNED if I'm going to pay the crooked state of Illinois $2.50/day to get to/from work on their tollway.

I've paid $20 to park twice in the MGM garages for shows. Trust me, it is a ripoff. I told my boss yesterday if I ever had to pay to park just to gamble, that would be the end of my gambling at that joint.
It's one thing to pay to park to watch the world champion Cleveland Cavaliers or the soon to be world champion Cleveland Indians, but a totally different thing to pay to park and go spend money you don't really have to spend at a business.

I always use valet parking. That's 18-20 $ a day. If I stop tipping I'll get my $20 back pronto. May stop tipping altogether., That would pay for their resort fee and the room tax!
