Now we are talking some serious cash!!!!!!! I know that I am likely to be struck by lightning. but I have to buy some tickets. You have no chance without a ticket. 10 is enough. You could have spent $100,000 on the last draw and still wouldn't have won. You would have got several K in minor prizes. I spent $20 last draw and got back 8!!!!! What a deal.

I gotta hit Jazz up for lottery numbers, especially after his 5 signers last night. The guy is on fire!
Mini Cyber was also in attendance. Could be Jazz's lucky charm!
-
Mini Cyber is an unfair secret weapon!!!!!

Had a friend buy me $20 worth. $1 back.... But,the store they were bought at had 4+1..... I heard a Mill. 4pezz2

1.4 Billion
Seriously, that would made life too complicated. Just give me about 50 million, I'd be good.
-
I bet it will go to 1.5 billion, and there will be 3 winners.
1 that recently lost their job.
1 that never plays the lottery but they just had a few bucks left over after buying some smokes
and the last one that will be a group of people that bet the same powerball number on every ticket.
-
FYI Hal has committed to buying Balmoral when he wins. I have a witness, too. The bartender heard him say it bowdown
-
If Hal takes the one time cash payment on $1.5 billion, that equals about $900 million.
After he buys Balmoral, that should leave him with $899 million and change, right?
-
Save your money and go have a nice surf & turf dinner yeahbabydrinkingguy

Yeah I agree. I don't know anyone who's ever hit it big playing the lottery. hammerhead1
I do admit, however, that I did contribute $5 to the office lottery pool. I look at it as insurance; I don't want to be the ONLY one at work on Thursday should the group win. Now that would suck.

Surf and turf will be on the menu at the new high end restaurant I will open at Hal Land Downs. (Formerly know as Balmoral). It will be adjacent to the Michael Madigan Slot Pavillion. There will be a luxury skybox reserved for ITS members at all times. Frequent visits can be expected from the new Director of Racing. (Me).

Respectfully I must turn down the trackman offer. I can't even imagine living in Crete, Illinois after living in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas, Nevada: No city or state income taxes, warm and sunny most of the time, a 24 hour town, great food, hot babes, large boobs, great gambling action.
Crete, Illinois: Most corrupt state in the USA. Cold, snowy, windy, Italian beef to die for (any surely many have died for), bad pizza....no thanks!

Too bad, I'm sure others will be interested in the $350,000 annual stipend.

It would take #350,000, a very nice free house, two lovely 25 year-old Asian masseuses, a new F350 four-wheel drive truck, and a $10,000 shopping spree from Carhartt for me to even think about it.
Oh, and several pounds of top shelf weed.
