Title: Worst NFL job
Post by: pope of vegas on January 03, 2016, 05:47:29 PM
Browns fired coach Mike Pettine.
What a disaster. Meddlesome owner Jimmy Haslam has also canned GM Ray Farmer. The dismissals are warranted in and of themselves, but come after their predecessors were let go far too quickly. Each of the Browns' past four coaches has now lasted two seasons or fewer, a truly embarrassing statistic for what's arguably become the league's worst franchise. Haslam has canned three coaches in four years since purchasing the team from Randy Lerner. An alleged real-life fraudster, Haslam has been a clueless huckster as an owner. He's created an environment so toxic that it's hard to see anyone other than a desperate retread agreeing to replace Pettine.

As bad as the Bears are, at least we have a decent coaching staff......for now. My sympathies to all the Brown fans.

Sunday night Football GB/Min: the winner gets the Division and a home game but also gets Seattle. I'd tank it and take my chances on the road in Washington.

Unless this is your last chance as a re-hire coach, who in their right mind would want the Cleveland job? Worst franchise in the NFL by far

There is only one way for the Browns organization to go-up. I look for Mike Shanahan to be the next coach.

Ok pope, when you draft Gilbert, Manzeil, Irving, ect and give Duane Bowe 9 mill guaranteed, then you derserved to be canned. Hey but  Mitchell Swartz had 3 less catches than Bowe  rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 btw  hows Cutler working for you!!!!

At least we can see progress. Thats more than I can say for the Browns. Cutler wasn't as bad this year,,, but not my choice as QB. Lets see how Kevin White pans out next year. Looks like the Bears OF is OK,,, Need help on D and OF line.

Cutler Contract got GM fired,,,, deservedly so.

Hindsight being 20/20 I'd say Tampa.

Not a huge Lovie fan, but c'mon 2 years?
