Title: M1 Sat, Jan 2
Post by: CyberChamp on January 02, 2016, 08:47:36 AM
Ok, I'm bored...so here goes:

Race 1 - 1,8    2($),4,9,3($)     10,11

Wicked Business could offer some value here.

Race 2 - 2,11,5      1(?),6,7

Not sure what to make of Bred to Race, first time Burke and Yannick. Very weak field, however.

Race 3 - 7,2,1($)     4,10,8

Giacodelight showed two moves last time and now gets Callahan for Spagnola.

Race 4 - 5,6,11      2(?),1($),4($),8

When your top tier consists of JoeyB, Zeron, and Marcus; it's a recipe for disaster.

Race 5 - 5,1,10($),9,11

Surprised that Montreal Phil only has a lifetime best of 1:51.2 despite banking $650k.

Race 6 - 6,3,9($),11,2

Hope For Badlands should rebound. Speed feel apart last time out.

Race 7 - 3,6    8     4,2

Ashley's Husband could be too far back if speed holds tonight.

Race 8 - 8,9,14      13,11,12     6

Gone Nuclear seems to be the best horse in the race. Too bad Lachance is driving.

More to come....

How often will you ever have a chance to bet a horse #14 in a harness race? Almost have to bet him for that reason alone.

I give Yannick a shot in the 1st, could always jump up off a trainer and driver change. I do like the 1 moving from post 10 to the rail. City Pie and Amped Up possibly on a double ticket as well.

Race 2...I really like Major In Life in here. Has raced pretty well and now gets Brett over McCarthy. Bred To Race going to Burke is intriguing, horse wasn't much at Woodbine though.

I think I'm using this sad card as a reason to get out of the house and throw back a few with Chicago Jazz.

Race 9 - 7,8    9,1    4,2($)

Bushwacker has a lot of speed to contend with to his inside. Kingofthejungle draws post 9. This has the making of an upset.

Race 10 - 5,6     3,4,9

Kings Barns is sharp right now. Wouldn't surprise me to see Our Dragon King rebound.

Race 11 - 2,1     9($),8($)

Rockin Wizard faces weaker here. Big chance.

Race 12 - 1,2,6($),7   4,11

Cobalt Man is the one to watch here. Could be ready at a price.

Good luck guys!

The price should be right. Lachance only seems to win when he is able to sit in up close for 7/8ths and then race the last 1/8. The added distance may help.

Note: If Austin Siegelman wins a race tonight, I'll boycott M1 for the remainder of 2016.

I'm bored too, but not that bored!  Good luck to all those playing tonight.

Note: If Austin Siegelman wins a race tonight, I'll boycott M1 for the remainder of 2016.

Him or some other bozo will most likely win one.  Pat Lachance, nice guy, but when you have to even consider
playing him as a driver, time to put the cap on your handicapping pen.

I think Scooty Z wins the 8th, if I remember correctly most horses that won those added distance races came from no worse than 4th a major majority of the time, I don't remember any where the horses came out of the clouds.

Now that Cyber made that statement we're all looking for a  Austin Siegelman horse to bet  rflmao1

Had a fun time with Chicago Jazz and "Mini Cyber" at the OTB.

Jazzy had the lucky horseshoe, catching the race 2 super due to a typo. He thanks Siegelman for being placed 3rd at 100-1.

I had to twist his arm to play Wdb, but Jazz had both p4's picked correctly, especially the late one $$$$. Tax free 20-centers!!!

Can't believe the M1 LP4 paid what it did with an 8-5 and three 5-1 shots.

Mini Cyber was using his 4yo charm, flirting with the hottie waitress.  My boy is growing up quickly!

A good start to 2016!

That's only half true. You build winning p5 tickets for Northfield, but you don't play them.

Northfield is easy to hit, but only if you play enough combinations. I can't afford to play enough combinations.

Is that why? I thought Vegas money was too good for Northfield.  slaphead

I sort of gave up betting horses when our former sponsor Dark Horse Bet went out of business. I was betting everyday online, but when Nevada ruled that they were not legal here, they stopped letting me bet any longer. Next thing you knew, they went out of business.
