I went to Home Despot a few minutes after opening and it wasn't crowded, just that they fill up the main aisles with product and people like to stop in the middle causing a traffic jam.
Staples had around 10 people in the store 20 minutes after opening.
I think the stores are starting to try to get a jump on the competition and offering everything a few days before black Friday. I was able to get the treadmill I wanted from Sears for the Black Friday price on Sunday. For some odd reason the mall was busy in the afternoon when I want to pick my parents up that snow globe from J C Penney at 3pm.
Overall people seemed to be in a good mood, didn't hear any horns beeping or families arguing among each other.
