Guess they will be the wiffle ball champs of the world. New ad anyone that can swing a bat, pan, rolling pin ect.. and connect please send resume to Paul Dolan.

How does a bad team with an inconsistent offense, incredibly bad defense, lack of baseball smarts and leadership, and an overmatched manager outscore a team 26-5 and sweep a four game series on the road in a town where they haven't done it in 10 years?

   I saw Amy in the batting cage yesterday  on Facebook. Told her she swings better than Swisher.

Even after the sweep, us Sox fans have no right to trash talk. Don't remember a more boring season, boring team, no reason at all to get excited.

Yep, for the most part the Sox have been boring and hard to watch this season. That's hard to say as a lifelong Sox fan but true, and nowhere close to resembling the group of guys who won the World Series in 2005.

But if you're bored when Chris Sale is on the mound, you ain't living right.

He's just as good as Gibson, Koufax, Drysdale, Marichal and Sudden Sam McDowell were in their day as strikeout kings.

All they did was get hot just in time to not trade guys and potentially be better down the road. Instead now they're "In it" 2.5 games out of the last wild card spot for a team that didn't show life for 92 games and showed life for 7.
