Title: Belmont Stakes
Post by: NIATROSS on June 04, 2015, 09:54:06 AM: barring a mishap or a terrible ride by the jockey i cannot get past american pharoah as the winner
a few of these are still elgible for a nw1x allowance
im not a fan of baffert or zayat but the horse looks the best.
the weather forecast looks good so unless the racing gods are going to frown on the baffert/zayat team the triple crown drought looks to be over

Post by: careless hal on June 05, 2015, 03:47:00 PM: I think I went to the Belmont one year too early. This year they are limiting the crowd to 90,000. Last year it was the most disorganized major event I've ever been to. Pharoah could be at 80%and I still think he could beat this bunch. Coach Q has his horses trained by Bobby B, so if Pharoah does win I look for the Hawks to sweep.

It is amazing how much Arlington has fallen. 8 races on the card and half of them were for maidens. Biggest purse was $25,000, nw 3 I think. It will be closed in a couple years.
