ESPN is reporting the game will be played but is closed to the public, due to the ongoing civil unrest afflicting various neighborhoods in Baltimore.
Televised only with no fans in the stands? Just like a lot of race tracks these days, unfortunately.

For us Sox fans, it was an ugly game and an ugly scenario - although not as ugly as those unfinished bleachers where Chicago's Double A team plays on the north side and had problems on Opening Night when they didn't have enough bathroom facilities for fans. Bush league.
A radio broadcaster said it best about today's game: "This game is all about the fans."
Too bad most racetrack operators forgot this the last 20+ years.

Can't argue about the bathroom situation opening night.
That said, I'll take a 12-7 Double A team anytime. ;D
On another note, I tried to set my DVR to record the Sox game, and it must not have believed me because it didn't record it. True story. I must know how to use it I have dozens of Cub and Bear games. Apparently my DVR is a Cub fan too.
Can't say I blame it thumbsup
