At the risk of being too contraversial:
Is the weather ever shitty here today. 60mph wind, 42deg, and a slow steady rain. Every trip to the manure pile or sawdust bin is just a slap in the face from mother nature.
Definitely going to be a comfort food night.

No wind here........rain all day..........St Calvin scratched out of the 2nd and has one in the 13th......good thing......he's putzed around all day and still has 6 stalls to clean............. 8)

I did go to the pool. It was too hot, so I came home after 45 minutes. ;D

shitty weather??? where??? I had to wade thru knee deep water to bring mama & foal in barn tonite because they would not go thru it and the mare was shivering trying to get warm. It has rained at least 3 in. today and still raining and damn cold too. Can hardly wait for the snow to freaking start :'( Looks like we have a wonderful start to a hell of a winter. :'(

I just drive home totally white knuckled (side note, forgot to put your leather stuff in Steck's truck, Ma)......it was as bad as driving in a snow storm, not the rain but the standing water on Rt 8..........I hate driving at night and in the rain........this makes me feel old, I use to drive EVERYWHERE.....but I was afraid St Calvin was going to make me stick around and help him clean up mud after the 13th. 8)

The traffic report around 6 seemed to go on for 5 minutes... route 2 had an accident every 5 miles it seemed.

And to top it all off.........on the news on the way home they've found out the herpes monkey was eaten by one of the other animals. :-[

I like to like on the bright side: my day had to be way better than the monkey that had to have sex with Gary.

I need to wash my behind then I'll look for them on the net...........some of the pictures coming out are horrible........but I had to turn off WNIR, if another person called in and whined about the cops having to shoot the poor things I was going to scream.........do they actually think they wanted to kill them? >:(

Exactly.....these guys came upon a scene they could have never imagined and DEFIANTLY never trained for. When Jack Hannah is defending their actions people need to shut up and accept the proper steps were taken......they are just as heart broken as we are at the tragic waste of such beautiful creatures.

The worst part of the story in my opinion is why someone was allowed to keep endangered wild animals.
No one should have 18 Bengal Tigers instead of having them in breeding programs.
Only Vladamir Putin is able to tranquilize an animal and have it go to sleep right away.
