As a matter of fact, I ate twelve frozen sliders this week on Monday and Tuesday. They cost 70 cents each, and if White Castle charges $1.50 in Las Vegas, I may never go buy them here.

Can't blame the folks out there, their main other choice is In & Out.  Things are pricey out there on the strip.  I remember being hungry late at night and getting a Nathans, fry and a coke and it was like $12!  I won't mention the name of the casino.  At the local White Castle a No 1--4 sliders, small fry and a med. drink is $6.49

OK---  I read online they are $1.09 each but $1.50 with cheese.  4pezz2   Still BS...  I won't be buying any.  I know I'm old,but they were 12 cents when I was a kid.
Hal,, were they a nickel when you were a kid?? ( I'm not trying to be funny)

I can't remember Sliders ever being less than 12 cents.  They had to be at some point, but the nearest WC was at 111th and State, so I never really bought any on my own till I was maybe 8 or 9 and could ride my bike there.  It was several miles from where I lived.  I do remember the first McDonalds  at 117th and Halsted which I think opened in 1958 or 9.  The burgers were 15 cents and fries 19 cents.   I never get anything other than the original slider.  They can keep the cheese or whatever else they want to put on there to boost the price,

12 cents for sliders and 15 cents for a McDonalds burger is what I remember, too.

I still like sliders, but better than Mcd's when I was a kid was Burger Chef in Franklin Park or Henry's in Des Plaines.
