Title: Today's fines and suspensions 1-23-15
Post by: LVGaryD on January 23, 2015, 01:21:04 PM
Looking at today's fines and suspensions, I had to laugh.

On the very same day that Ron Pierce was made an internet sensation by getting dumped, then holding on and getting dragged by the horse, saving many people n paddock as well as the horse, Pierce gets fined for an unsatisfactory drive. WTF, the poor guy got the Big M more free publicity than they will ever get anywhere, then they shove it in his ass for $300.

On another matter, Northfield fined two guys for not obtaining their license before they raced in 2015. In my opinion, the entire OSRC should be fined for allowing them to race with no license. I'm guessing Bradley Irvine was out of state and the other guy is too dumb to read a calendar.

Four guys at Pompano Park were fined for not pausing between hitting their horses in the stretch. Excuse me-maybe they were trying to win the race???

Finally, the most racist fine and suspension of the week goes to the Ohio State Racing Commission. They fined a black man, Thomas Eric Tharps Jr., for a positive urine test for ....... marijuana. OMG! Shocking. One of my black brothers smoking weed? Let a brother off the hook-this is 2015! Not a damn thing wrong with some weed in your system. It's not like he was smoking it in the paddock. Hell it didn't even say he was under the influence. We need to call Al Sharpton in on this racist shit. A black man can't even enjoy a little weed in a state that is trying to legalize it? ???

Tetrick got 5 days, and wasn't placed, I wonder what that was about, I know Pierce ran up on Dave Millers

wheel and broke near the wire and I'm shocked they didn't look at some of Greengrasses drives last week,

and whats with a bunch of horses late for the start the past week or two  idunno

There was a bunch of those some years ago at WEG, turned out they were notorious smokers late-for the paddock.
