Since when did the meadowlands start paying out a consolation pick 3 ? Of course I had Guns and Roses ending my pick 3 for a couple of dollars paying $260 for a $1 , I get the favorite to win and get back $80 and the winner paid $200 something ...every other race track that I can remember always made the favorite and scratched horse a combined pool..

Of course I had Guns and Roses ending my pick 3 for a couple of dollars paying $260 for a $1 , I get the favorite to win and get back $80 and the winner paid $200 something ...every other race track that I can remember always made the favorite and scratched horse a combined pool..
They didn't do it last weekend....just make it up as you go.

Its pretty bad that when your horse gets scratched you have to pray that the post time favorite wins just to get a consolation

''First of all, if you want me to address an issue you should talk to me like a human being instead of cursing at me which I don't appreciate at all.
Secondly, the rules were never changed. A scratch in a pick 3 results in a consolation payoff. You do not get the post time favorite. It has the same rule as the daily double. The only wagers that result in you getting the post time favorite if there is a scratch are the pick 4 and pick 5. Every racetrack applies these same rules.''
oh for the record , I never cursed at him once in my post .

You might be right and I just don't remember it being like that , but it doesn't make a lot of sense that you play a pick 3 and get the first to legs in and you're automatically getting paid for only hitting 2 legs .
Almost as dumb as paying out 4 out of 5 on the pick 5.
