Title: Ward on weed when hit.

Grand jury refuses to indict Tony Stewart.  It is a shame the young man got killed, but Tony didn't put the reefer in his mouth.  Now his family is considering a civil suit.  In all likelihood, there will be some kind of payoff just to make the whole thing go away.  If I was on a jury judging that, I wouldn't award them one cent.  His being on weed explains in part his stupid actions.  But, if I was Tony and had plenty of dough, I'd pay them off, because I would feel bad about killing someone, even if they were high and it was an accident.

Weed had nothing to do with his stupidity. Weed in one's system does not constitute being under the influence. If he had been under the influence of weed, he would not have gotten off the couch, let alone ran onto the track.

Still I agree on one point: I would not give the family of the dumbass a cent.

We know you love weed but shut the f*ck up already ! If it's in his system he uses it and LEGALLY he is under the influence ! If he stopped a couple days before racing then he may have been withdrawing from it which would cause aggressive behavior but we will never know because weed, drugs, alcohol, medicine and whatever affects everyone different.

I think it's terrible the kid died like this but in reality he committed suicide the second he made the stupid decision to leave his car and walk down the track, to me having weed in his system really don't matter.
