Will there ever be another Triple Crown winner the likes of Secretariat , Seattle Slew , Affirmed?

We will eventually have a horse that stands out from the others stay healthy through the triple crown.

the top horses from the top bloodlines have left this country over the last 25-30 yrs.
other countries are interested in stamina and brilliance.in the us it is all about the early money for 2 yos.
putting 2 yos on lasix before they even race is a good thing for them ?
they can barely race 10 -12 times before they are retired
is it a coincidence that since new york dropped the ban on race day lasix there has not been a triple crwon winner ?

Never know, horse this year could have won had he not been stepped on and bleeding.

I have to agree with Niatross and Pezz.. I think we will have another triple crown winner. Will we ever have another Secretariat, Seattle Slew, or Affirmed? No way! The 3 year old crops are getting very mediocre in general terms...and for that reason there will be another triple crown winner...but they will not go on to be the legendary type. Just a horse that was able to beat the shit he was racing against. dorkusinterruptus

Maybe just maybe a horse like Shared Belief won't get injured leading up to the triple crown races one of these years. It's going to happen, and when it does I sure hope it's a horse worthy and not a horse that took advantage of a weak crop and a bunch of injuries like we almost had this year.
