Title: Horse runs down the midway at Mt. Vernon, Ohio fair

A horse got loose at the Knox county fair in Mt. Vernon, Ohio tonight after a line broke. The horse ran off the track and took off down the midway. No reports on injuries yet. Updates coming later tonight or tomorrow.

I was told he ordered a funnel cake and then returned to his barn.

All I have heard was that it was J.D. Wengerd on one of Raber's horses. Apparently the line broke or the bit or something and J.D. bailed out.

Had same experience at Upper several years ago.  Not fun.  Very scary.  Little boy hit sitting along the outside fence and horse ran loose down the midway, it was horrible.  Everything turned out ok but it was a mess for awhile. Thank goodness no one was hurt at Mount Vernon.  Makes my heart sink to think what could happen  noway

We had a bucking-bull get loose during the rodeo at our fair. He got clear outside the pens. I don't trust dem sour rascals!

Heck no! I know a little about how a horse thinks... d0n't know squat about bulls except they'll hurt me.
