Title: Hall of Fame trainer/driver Bob Farrington turns 85

One of the first catch drivers back in the 60's.  Back then, trainers usually drove their horses.

Rambling Willie and Bob Farrington.


Farrington, who was voted into the Living Hall of Fame in 1979, won 3,163 races in his career as a driver, with his mounts banking more than $9 million.

He is, of course, best remembered as the trainer/driver of the great Rambling Willie, also a Hall of Famer, who was voted into the Immortal category for horses in 1997.
