Title: Yonkers' Tuesday Card Decimated By Weather
Post by: LVGaryD on July 15, 2014, 03:57:00 PM
YONKERS, NY, Tuesday, July 15, 2014—Yonkers Raceway’s Tuesday card has been decimated by weather and weather-related (flooding) traffic issues, primarily at and around the George Washington Bridge.

As of this writing (about 6:50 PM ET), here’s the latest…

…there are 22 scratches, the vast number being judges (transportation).

…post time has been temporarily reset to 7:30 PM (from the usual 7:10 PM), to allow many of the drivers more time to arrive.

Due to the abbreviated field, the wagering menu has been diced and sliced as such…

            --3rd race -- no Pick 4

--4th race – no Pick 3

--5th race -- no Pick 5

--6th race – non-wagering/purse only (three horses)

--9th – win only (four horses)
