Took a day off at the Hawk, and trying my luck again tonight! Here's what I like:
1- Cheryl's Surprise. Sticking with the Auciello stable again, as they've been finishing and racing well. This one looks like solid contender. Box with All Chocolate in the exactors.
2- Perfect Alliance. Should be about 1-9 in this elimination race. Play on top of "Rockin With Dewey," on what should be a short priced exactor.
3- Bee A Magician. Not really going out on a limb in this one either, should lay over this group.
4- Putmeintogo. I Can't stand Sleepy Mayotte's driving, but this horse is dropping down pretty significantly and has been very competitive in the straight NW3.
5- Entranced. This is a pretty tough field, but I've always found that Saftic gives you great value on a trotter, especially the young ones.
6- Button Fly. Cut the mile last week and ended up just weakening at the end of the mile to get beat. Fits well again with this bunch.
7- Brushstrokes. Moving up in class but she also picks up Jamieson's services which is a huge improvement over Anthony Haughn. Should pay well if she gets there!
8- Trixton. Should be another short priced winner. Playing on top of the 10 horse, Raise the Curtain in the exactors.
9- OK Gallahad. This one may slip by some bettors, but he's been quietly improving every start for Menary. He's just been beaten by a couple of lengths the last few starts. Jamieson may get him there tonight at good odds.
10- Performing Art. Coming off a very impressive qualifier and should be pointed down the road by Davis.
11- Barockey. Drops and pops.... Box with Rebekah Bayama who will destroy them if she's back close to her usual form.
