Triple B was the King of what I call the value PK4. It's pretty easy to cash Pk4's if you spread out enough but Triple B would post value tickets in the $20-$60 range and hit IRS payouts. Best ROI bar none.

Several of us met him at an ITS outing at Hoosier. Or was that Balmoral? Maybe he was at both.  idunno

I think he was at both outings.  A real nice guy and sharp capper.

Triple B passed in 1980 at age 25 at the Hempt Farm in Pennsylvania. After being retired from racing in 1961, he stood in Kentucky, and sired Armbro Nesbit, Meadow Paige, Entrepeneur, Nardin's Byrd, Keystone Ore, Bye And Large, Bye Bye Max and Billy Joe Byrd, as well as the dams of Niatross, Frugal Gourmet, Jade Prince, Windshield Wiper, Amity Chef and No No Yankee.

A salute to Triple B, one of the great ones.
