He is the Fav for the Derby for now, but watch Bayern next week in Arkansas. The Fav for the derby is going to be 6-1

I think California Chrome ends up as a clear favorite as of now. Bayern will have to be awfully impressive to compete with him in the betting. The top horses coming in are all dropping out. Honor Code, Shared Belief both out, Cairo Prince and Social Inclusion just failed, Candy Boy and Hoppertunity just got whipped, so who does this even leave? Constitution hasn't done anything wrong, but the other horses that have won preps don't appear to be anything special. I'll say Chrome is 5/2-3/1 favorite.

I agree. Think your brother was drinking when he said fav would be 6 to 1 in the derby.

Ok now. I know CC has looked impressive but let's tone it down. How many madiens were in the race? Candy Boy last raced 8 weeks ago and Stevens kept him close to the pace and probably hurt his closing ability. As Bailey said CC doesn't get out of the gate that quick, and in the Derby with 20 horses he may get cut off. Actually so far the strongest Derby is probably the Fl Derby. You had numerous horses that won stake races in the race. How are the owners of Social Inclusion feeling today? They turned down 8 mill.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4pezz2 4pezz2 4pezz2 4pezz2 Must hate $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Let's tone what down? Did anyone say a thing other then he was impressive and will probably be the Derby favorite? I don't see anyone saying this horse has to and will win the Derby...

Horse I don't want to see in the Derby is Cairo Prince!! He's owned by Godolphin and I hope he doesn't get in the Derby. He needed his race and is capable of winning the Derby.

Hoppertunity galloped out very nicely
Just sayin
