these people never cease to amaze me.
i kept att home phone for my mom until she passed becaue she only knew how to use the rotary one on the wall.
after she passed i found and old bill from 2003 that had not been opened. The bill for just local calls was $23 and change. The last bill was for $43 and chamge.anyone here double their wages in the last 10 yrs ?
I already had comcast internet and cable and made a switch.
here is my beef,
last sunday online i tried to order voice but alnaan singh told me i needed a modem.i said you were wrong i already had one and disconnected.
i tried again hr later and was told service was not available in my area and need to call local office.pissed again since my next door has it i disconected again.
1/2 hr later i try again and the person takes my order and sends me a new modem.i get neew modem and it is EXACTLY the same modem i already have.i am now stuck returning it or being charged a monthly rental fee for it.
you think this story is long you should hear my cable and internet dealing with comcast
thanks for giving me a space to vent !

At Time Warner around here the price you pay depends on the person who is taking your call or helping you at the window.
The lady at the window said I was being charged too high a price so she fixed it, but then said nothing can be done about the higher price in previous months. Feel like just logging onto the sites where you get live tv streamed from someone else's tv and not pay a thing.

Comcast sucks ! birdienana And for me it's just about that time of year they want to raise my $107.00
bill to $160.00 and then I call and say I want to cancel then they leave it at $107.00, Do it every year.
Where I live I don't have many choices and that dish crap is way to slow for my taste.

Comcast is a saint compared to AT&T. I have Their U-Verse service for phone, internet, home phone and TV.
Yesterday, I wanted to call and drop one of my 4 TV boxes. There is no regular phone number on their bill to call. If you speak a foreign language or handicapped they have numbers, but no number for regular customer service.
Went to their website--still no number. Had to google it and get the number from a 3rd party site. Comcast has 20 times the on-demand shows as U-verse, and I get the U-verse 400 package. Recently, when I went to Ireland I bought an overseas data package. They sent me an e-mail to make sure and disable mobile roaming on my phone to avoid additional charges. Problem was that you couldn't use the data plan anywhere in Ireland without turning the mobile roaming on. What a rip off. If I call and complain about the price they will give you promotions, but it obligates you to another 6 months of service. I plan on dumping the bastards when my contract runs out in March.
The monthly charge for my TV is $135
