Caretaker for Good Counsel in the Frank Ervin Stable 1956

Good Counsel and Frank Ervin bow from the winner's ring at the Red Mile after romping to a straight heat victory in the Hanover Shoe Filly Stake for two‑year‑old pacers. The Good Time‑Princess Counsel world champion paced both trips in 2:02. Lawrence B. Sheppard pre­sents the trophy to Mrs. Fred L. VanLennep while Mr. VanLennep looks on. Holding is the filly's caretaker, Tom Smith.
