Dam of Brother Harmony 4, 2:00 Dies at Harmony Farm
The Harmony Farm, Mount Vernon, O., owned by Harry Eckert, had the misfortune to lose the prize broodmare, Twilight Sue 2:081/4, by Azoff on February 20, that died as the result of a hemorrage shortly after foaling a full brother to her famed offspring, Brother Harmony 4, 2:00. The colt fortunately is doing fine and being raised on a bottle. Twilight Sue, foaled in 1931, was considerably faster than her record. Her first three foals by Abbe Guy 3, 2:04 are all in the list: Brother Harmony 3, 2:022/5, 4, 2:00; Clever Harmony 2:113/5 and Ace Harmony 2:141/5. She also has a three-year-old filly, Empress Harmony, and a two-year-old filly, Florence Harmony. Brother Harmony 4, 2:00 won over $30,000 last season and his total winnings are over $48,000; the chestnut stallion placing second in the $50,000 Two Mile Pace at Westbury, free-legged, and beaten a nose only in World Record time and was a bang-up second in the $50,000 Golden West Pace.

Hey Dale,
               How goes it?

As you should recall, Brother Harmony was a star in the Foy Funderburk stable (father of Ada Jean Ackerman).
