Title: Warrawee Needy

Couple easy wins under his belt at Woodbine.   Hasn't been much to speak of in those fields as WEG is hurting.

I wonder if racing him in these easy spots will propel him later or will these easy wins falsely inflate his ego.

I will bet against as soon as this thing is back in with real Open horses, he hasn't proved to be a superior animal to me yet.

I've always been a big Needy fan, but wasn't impressed with him last week off easy fractions and wasn't happy with how he raced at the Meadowlands either. He at least finished the mile off well last night but had things really easy once again.

I think they're doing a good job getting some solid miles under the horse.
He will be ready come the 4 yr old series at the BigM in May.
The question is, is he going to be good enough to win in the series.
If so, the next question is if he can handle older horses.
I think they're managing the horse very well so far this year.

Totally agree with you.  Virtually unchallenged of late.

I hope he does well this year, but he won't have any easy ones against the big boys.

I agree.   It is nothing to get excited about right now.   He has beat nothing.   

He was already exposed at the Big M over the winter and then took his ball and went home.   He is putting a few dollars in the pockets of his connections but after the gasconade they displayed the past 2 seasons they have huge shoes to now fill.

It's kinda nice to get some easy preps into one early, and pays 100% more than training trips or qualifiers. He'll certainly get tested later. Dem top aged horses are really a tough bunch.
