One thing is for sure, Illinois racing will continue to decline. Next year Illinois harness may be down to 3-4 months a year. Hoosier may become more popular with bettors, only time will tell.

Is harness racing exslusive to Hoosier this year ?
Glad they are back up and running, lost interest the last month at the Meds as the defections to Harrahs and Pocono has taken their toll on their cards.
Haven't made a bet yet, waiting to see everything get at least a start or two before gambling on who is tight off a qualifier and who is not.
There is one horse Wednesday night at Hoo shipping from Lebanon ( about mid card ). Drew the 9 hole tomorrow night in a series, won in first start at Lebanon and my dad said this horse was on cruise control.....

When we go down to Bristol for the NASCAR race we pass a huge horse operation some miles south of Indy on the west side of I-65 with acres and acres of nice fenced paddocks with run-in sheds, but seldom see any horses. Seems very well kept. Anybody know what the story is on that place? Looks like a ton of money tied up for few or no horses.
