Title: M1 Saturday 4/6
Post by: CyberChamp on April 06, 2013, 01:43:38 PM
Finally have some time to post a few, so here goes:

R1 - 5     6,2,3
R2 - 7     4      3,1,6
R3 - 8,5,1,2      4
R4 - 7($),8,2     3,1
R5 - 6,1     3,9,8
R6 - 3,4,1,2     6($),8($),7($)     9
R7 - 6,2    1,3,7     9
R8 - 4,2,3     5,8
R9 - 9,5,1,10,7(?)     8,3     6,4
R10 - 2,10,7     6($),3(?)

Race 1 - I thought ABELARD HANOVER was a little short last week.  Should be better tonight.

Race 2 - The orange crush is looking for another way to get OLDE TIME HOCKEY beat.

Race 3 - RIVER SHARK should walk over these, but I'm not fond with Mark Macdonald at M1.

Race 4 - ROCKY MOUNTAIN GUY is my pick of the night.  Loved him last week, but Johansson couldn't get him in contention.  Gets a big driver change and should offer some value.

Race 5 - MY SUGAR DADDY looks tough, but Callahan will be a handful with HE'S A BEACHBOY.

Race 6- This is a wide open race and I will go deep in this one and hope to catch a price.

Race 7 - AREZZO HANOVER should win this if he stays flat.

Race 8 - FANTADDY looks to be rounding into his old self.

Race 9 - Another tough one, I think PRINCE SHARKA will be tough as he moves inside.

Race 10 - ERIDANUS N raced well his last two times at M1.  Worth a price shot tonight.

Good luck tonight!

Race#1

Abelard Hanover needed room last week, or Pierce to not sit behind the leader and he was a winner. Statesman has been impressive have to use as well

Race#2 Old Time Hockey broke before the start last week, even thou it is not listed in the program. Wins tonight

Race#3 River Shark Is the Class here, but I am not a big fan and don't know why. Windsong Harley has been perfect for Burke, Who knows how good he is. Musslesfrombrussels Horse always kicks home well, one of these weeks he is going to get up

Race#4 I like 4 of them here, 1,2,7,8. Think Rocnrolwilneverdie is the best

Race#5 This race Sucks. Going to use 1,3,5,6,9,10 and cross my fingers

Race#7- Wide open here. I am going to use 1,2,3,6,7

Race#8 I am with you Champ. Fantaddy

Race#9  I think Coastal is the best here. But going to use 6,7,9,10

Race#10 This race sucks too. Going to use 1,2,5,7

Race#11  I like Take it back Terry. Was coming to River Shark and now 3rd start off the Lay Off.

Race#12 Veal Marsala back in a claimer, and I think will blow this field away

Race#13. I will try to figure this out later. Awful race.

Good Luck All.

I absolutely hate betting the Meadowlands now. With these drivers and trainers you might as well play Burke/Surick and just throw darts for the rest of your picks.

Seriously, time to take a break till the real racing gets going there. That might be till we go to the pace.....

Old hypocrite Hal agrees 100%.  At least at Balmoral I have a pretty good idea of who is honest,(most) and who is not. (some).  Actually, overall my betting is down at least 50% if not more.  Really, when there is no ADW and you often have to bet hours before the races start how can you really hunker down on anything?  Outside of Balmoral and Maywood, I've only been playing Pompano and Rosecroft a little.  Tracks with small handles where you can get a good payout on a token bet if you know who to play..  I know that now, instead of making bets 6 times a week, I'm down to 3-4,betting fewer tracks and less money

this has been a very tough meet to play imo.seeing steve smith win the other night at 2-1 on a horse who had not won in who knows how long was brutal.possible but still brutal.
i support what gural is trying to do but last night was the first sat night in yrs i have did not even look at pps or watch a race from the meds.i just watched the final four and the zahn memorial.
one thing that does stick in my craw is they now also do not go off at post time often dragging up to 5 mins beyond.i maybe getting petty but it bothers the cht out of me.
i will still bet the meds but cannot with the gusto of the past as the confidence is not there.i am sure part of it is my capping style but it is the same reason i did not bet beulah if churchill was running.

Part of the post time is TVG I think Tross. If Los al or other race has a conflict they will wait a couple minutes to show it live.

And just like when he was a member here, he can't take any criticism. Sent me a message on facebook. Told me everything I post is negative about the meadowlands!!!  Are you kidding me? Nice way to treat your customers....  rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1
