Hamburg, NY – Although fans have ended up with six of seven on numerous occasions over the last several weeks, the elusive Pick 7 jackpot continues to grow at Buffalo Raceway. The carryover heading into the Wednesday (April 3) program is $9,157. The Pick 7 is a $2 minimum wager held nightly on races 6-12.
The Pick 7 carryover is not the only thing continuing to rise at Buffalo Raceway, as overall handle has seen a 25% increase in 2013 through March. The 2013 surge is on top of a 2012 calendar year that saw a 37% increase over 2011 numbers.
“It is nice to see the bettors have noticed the changes made at Buffalo Raceway with the increased purses, Player Rewards, new graphics among other improvements” said Director of Operations Jon Cramer.
Live racing begins a four day per week schedule in April with Wednesday and Thursday first post at 5 p.m., while Friday and Saturday post time remains at 6:40 p.m.

I will tuck away $2 to play a single ticket. The lottery players will be hitting the all button.
