His first start in 4 months and he will definitely improve in his next start. Will he improve enough to beat Verrazano? Probably not, but I would consider him underneath in the Darby.

Black Onyx is a big beautiful horse that looks the part. I cashed on hime yesterday and who knows. He just maybe coming around at the right time. thumbsup

I figured since he ran so good on the turf he might take to the poly as well. But he got buried the last time he ran on the dirt, so this might not be a Derby horse.
