That was a field he was supposed to beat.

I totally agree, but he is supposed to beat most fields when he is right. He had not been anywhere close to right in Canada the past few starts.

Sorry Gary, he is not as good as some thought on here earlier in the year. As it turns out the big discussion between him and Elmo, Elmo had a better year easily. And they both below the top FFa's, with meirs a notch below elmo

Totally agree that to this point, Elmo has had the better year. I would much rather own Meirs Hanover though, and you will soon see why. ;D

Why does it always have to come to " Well I would like to own both or one or the other"?
That was not the point, the point was you said he should be most which IMO is B.S. His greatness which was reported here earlier in the year, was greatly exaggerated.

Agree that I'd love to own either one.
What we disagree on is that I believe the Meirs Hanover you've seen in Canada much of the summer is not the real Meirs Hanover that you will see the rest of the year. Meirs does not like Canada. He loves Ron Burke. He loves George W. Bush. He loves America. rflmao1 rflmao1
I also don't think either is among the elite few FFA horses in North America at this point.

Do you guys think there is any chance of Foiled Again or WTW of breaking Gallo Blue Chips lifetime earnings record ?

WTW won't this year. He's done for the year.
