Title: Withers Stake

one of 3 races being held for points for the derby starting gate this weekend


I like #3 Revolutionary! This horse had the 3  of the worst trips you could imagine in his first 3 starts and was game as hell, then in his 4th start, everything clicked. He is poised to hop on the derby trail after this one as one of many for pletcher.

I loved Revolutionary's first start, got destroyed at the start and still flew home from an impossible spot. But I got to say I was really disappointed in his next two starts, sure he didn't break well but other then that he didn't really have any excuses and these were maidens beating him. Then last time he finally put it all together, so it'll be interesting to see if he can continue to put it all together or is just inconsistent.

Another troubled trip for Revolutionary and he found a way to win. had to start and stop 3 or 4 times

That was a real nice close to get up today. That's two nice races in a row finally.
