Haven't done this in awhile playing all afternoon, race 1 Western Fair:
20wp on Kerrona, 10 dollar exactor box 3/4. Good luck to all playing along!
-
3 horse raced big and was parked for 3/4 of a mile before clearing. Drove on and battled the 4 down the lane but weakened to finish a close fourth. 4 wins, and Dave is down 60. Bad beat.
Race 2: 20 wp on Cash Only Please. Box 2/6 for 10 bucks
-
The old fox Donnie Rankin works out a great two hole trip and gets out late to get it all to score for the Headpole! Pays 6.90 and 5.70 to win and place specifically. My 6 other exactor horse hooked wheels with the 5 off the gate and wasn't a factor.
Race 3: 20 wp on 3, 20 dollar straight exactor 3-5.
-
Horse ran into traffic trouble before shaking loose late and just being beat for second in a very close photo. Sigh. Lost 60 there.
Race 4: 20 wp 3, 10 dollar exactor box 3/5
-
Second place after doing the roadwork. Paid 2.10 to place. Not good, missed exactor as well.
Race 5: 10 dollar exactor box 3/6
10 wp on 3
-
Just beaten by the 8 horse, for a very close second. Frustrating! Still raced very well, paid 2.80, the Moreau horse wasn't a factor.
-
Race 6: 25 wp on the 6. 1 tri box 1,3,6,8
-
Dave's second place run continues... Perfect trip in the two hole but the 7 horse laid outside forever and the Allard horse on the engine never was really pressured. Finally got out but Richardson had it measured perfect. Paid 3.30 to place. Missed the tri as the 7 horse held for third.
Race 7: Looks like a line em up Half mile exactor race. The two horse is a Moreau horse, so I'll try a 50 dollar straight exactor 2-1. 20 Cent Super 12/12/ all/all
-
Sets up exactly as predicted and Henry falls asleep on the engine. Let's the horse in the three hole come first over and almost clear before getting after his own horse. Battles back but the horse is done and quits down the lane to finish third. Not impressed.
Switching to Flamboro, 20 wp on the rail horse in the first.
Race 8:
-
Sigh. Losing badly now, Sheperd takes back and gets shuffled badly. Out another 40.
Race 8 Western Fair: Last shot if I lose. 25 wp on the 5. 10 dollar exactor box 4/5
-
Done. Can't catch a cold at this track. Favorites poorly driven, incredible form changes, cheap racing. No more.
