Title: Situation in Kuwait
Post by: LVGaryD on January 07, 2013, 09:25:39 AM
Normally I could not give two shits about anything happening in the Arab countries, but this is something I can't let go by without comment.

Two people have now been sentenced to two years in prison for criticizing the Emir, and apparently that is a no no in certain backwards, uneducated third world countries. (http://news.yahoo.com/kuwait-sentences-second-man-jail-insulting-emir-lawyer-135651693.html)

Well Mr. Emir, go f**k yourself. I shit upon your rule. The people of the United States of America freed you f**kers from Iraq's madman just to  have you put people you disagree with in prison?

I show all of you dipshits the bottoms of my feet in utter disdain.

Should just have torn out their tongues like they would in most places.  The Emir is benevolent indeed.

Kuwait is one of the places in the Arab world where the people and rulers both like us.  It would be in our benefit if the ruler stayed in power, thus clamping down isn't the worst thing in the world for our interests.

This is very common in Arabic countries.
Before I retired I spent a bit of my life in Saudi Arabia and in Yemen. We were told before we went in exactly what we could do and say and to whom we could NOT say it. Yemen was probably the worst since there is only minimal "rule of law" in that s##th##e. You never knew who was listening or how they knew what was said but they knew!! The first thing I received after stepping off of the plane in Aden was a 9mm Glock from the "company" I worked for at the time. It was a "glorious experience" !!!

And we are their allies? 70 year-old Saudi man buys, then marries 15 year-old girl! (http://www.examiner.com/article/man-70-marries-15-year-old-girl-activists-are-outraged-at-the-marriage)

Sick bastard. Low-life pig. I show him the bottoms of my feet, and throw Pope's smelly shoes at him!
