I'd be taking two guys that have been about as hot all year as anyone-Sylvain Filion and Richard Moreau.

The horses I would have to check out the Canadian stats on, but I know I'd take those two.

Some of the choices are really close, but I think Captaintreacherous is a standout in his class. Adrovette, Market Share, and Foiled again would probably get my vote if I had one. All listed are fine horses.

2 yr Trotting filly- To Dream on

2 yr Trotting Colt- Slam Dunk, it's Wheeling N Dealin

3 yr trotting filly- Check me Out

3 yr trotting colt- Intimidate

older Trotting mare- Frenchsfrysnvinegar

Guessing only that Toscano's positive DQs him. O'Briens have always been much stricter on that kind of stuff than Dan Patch awards.
2 Canadian starts, a BC win and a 2nd in the MapleLeaf.

Market share was still nominated.

These are oddball awards: throw logic out the window. A couple of years ago Sportwriter garnered 37% of the vote against Heaven, even though Sportswriter only won one race. Granted it was the NA Cup, but still. Last year Monkey crushed Peelers, taking 80% of the vote off of her BC win and some success in the SS program.

To Dream On won the Dan Patch but I think Bee A Magician wins the O

Good point. I am wrong once again.

dnnj1- Anndrovette over Rebeka Bayama, imo.

Chapter Seven only raced twice in Canada. You need to race three times to be nominated. Market Share made six 2012 starts in Canada.
