Sounds good to me. We certainly have enough/too many 3 y.o. races but we can't have enough FFA races.
Thanks for finding this Pezz, but when you do post these articles/links could you share an opinion.
We have some posters who I have allot of respect for who are not expressing opinions as often as I'd like to see.

Not a problem Dolfan. I think this is a great idea. Will be nice to see the top horses at the big M more often than last year.

I generally post these articles, but have had a lot of issues with my spam mail lately. Stuff that goes into my spam is deleted immediately and I often never see it. Many times people will ask if I got their email and to look in my now empty spam folder. I must have it set to empty itself out often, but cannot find the place I set it like that.
And yes, thanks Pezz! bowdown bowdown

Ok---I think it's a good idea also.

He kind of has no choice but to offer a lengthy series for older horses because he is the reason they have to bring their 3 year olds back at 4.

great idea thumbsup thumbsup

They should keep going after three! What I wouldn't have given to see Somebeach Somewhere as a 4 and 5 year old. He could have made another 3 million and broken even more records. Shadow Play at 4 would have been great as well! This race two years and retire is nonsense as it puts your stars on the sidelines way too early. Looking forward to some good racing from these horses!

i like the idea
obviously in both breeds sending them off to stud early has not worked except for the breeders

Yeah definately love seeing the older horses race more often..

Love the idea. I always preferred durable horses over young flashes.

I find it hard to really care about horses I have not seen race in person ... unless following an undefeated horse. So for the most part I don't care about many of the star horses until they are in the battle of lake erie.

Don't get to many big stars in the race anymore so you probably won't see to many good ones anytime soon

I've seen Foiled Again several times and Maltese Artist several times as well. It always attracts one or two and those are usually the older horses I end up liking.
