Title: o.t Columbus Casino!
Post by: jug on October 21, 2012, 11:04:45 AM
Finally made the trip over.....the good news is it was 43 minutes from door to door without speeding. The poker room was nice and spread 1-2 no limit and 2-5 no limit and had 7 at each table at 8:00AM on sunday morning.

The bad......$25.00 minimum on both open crap tables on a sunday morning, 3 players at each. Poker dealers were nice but absolutely horrible, the one female dealer said a month ago she had never even heard of poker!

My table had two fish and 6 of us fishing.....good trip!

I am surprised it didnt take a lot longer. There were a ton of people out there running today.  What part of the city is it in?

Broad st and Georgesville rd.......right past the old westland mall. And trust me I would not want to be running in that part of town unless I was really fast!

We ran on Broad Street.  I started 15 minutes behind the leaders, and they were at mile 7 by the time I was at mile 2.

Went our to see it for the first time this afternoon.  The facility was impressive.  I was disappointed that Blackjack tables were $25 minimum.  One of the employees said they have some $15 tables during weekdays, but increase the minimums as the crowds increase.  I guess they raised minimums to $50 on Saturday night and had all tables full with players waiting.  I like the video slots at Scioto better than the ones I tried at the casino.  Looks like I'll be saving all my gambling money for the horses.  These prices are too steep for my blood.
