I left Wooster, Ohio on Friday at 9:30 am for Las Vegas. Despite my past life as a horse shipper, I rarely drive at night any longer due to my aging eyes. They seem to be unable to see on all but the most clear nights.
Drove 650 miles on Sunday and slept in St. Robert, MO. Drove from there to 40 miles east of Albuquerque NM on Saturday, then the other 8 hours on Sunday, arriving home around 4 pm Sunday night.
Got to the condo to discover that the sink was plugged. I plunged it and then took the trap apart and drained the two sinks before calling it a night.
Monday I screwed with the sink for about 5 hours, then again Tuesday for three more. Snaked it, but never got the clog unclogged. Went to work Wednesday and saw my landlord and told him about the situation. We figured it must have been caused by the heavy rains in Las Vegas a week or so ago....call a plumber.
Plumber was supposed to be here an hour ago and apparently now will not be here for another hour or so. 4pezz2

you should have hired Pezz to drive you. Would have gotten home in half the time.

I wanted to arrive alive. ;D
Actually I love seeing the sights of the country I love so much (it's the politicians I hate), and that is also part of the reason I love driving in the daylight.
Something about seeing that big beautiful Oklahoma and Texas sky and the mountains and plateaus of New Mexico. The Ozark mountains are simply gorgeous, and the red rock formations of Arizona are breathtaking!

The desert sky aound nightfall is beautiful. Almost doesn't look real with all the 'painted colors'.
