After a hearing with The Red Mile track judges, driver John Campbell will not be further sanctioned for the rulilng that he caused interference on the front end while driving Odds On Equuleus in a Bluegrass division on Sept. 29. After a lengthy inquiry. Odds On Equuleus was disqualified from the win and placed last after the judges ruled Campbell took up abruptly in the final turn and caused interference, including sending two horses on a break at the back of the field.
Harnessracing.com learned Campbell's ruling came as a result of the judges deeming that the Hall of Fame driver's actions were half to blame, with the other half being that the horse also tried to take itself up at the same time.

In that case, why not split the penalty down the middle: suspend JC for a day-and-a-half, and suspend Odds On E for a day-and-a-half. Fair is fair.
Quick, somebody take the shovel away from these clowns. They just keep digging a deeper hole for themselves.
Did Campbell sit through this hearing with a straight face?

Sears caused the confusion there. Didn't know if he was pulling or sitting in and caused the entire mix up.
If you watched Woodbine last night you would have seen 90% of the races have a 30-31 second second quarter. It's the rule not the exception.

This is whats wrong with the sport.
Anyone who bet it loses. For betting the best horse?
Why was this call made? I am missing some political agenda?
The sport has many problems.
The judges inventing new ones isnt needed.
As I have said before if a driver does something wrong intentional or not they get a suspension.
Will the judges get a suspension? Of course not.
They are seen as infalable.
You cant just invent things after a race on a whim.

The 3 of them should be looking for a new job!!

As bad a call as the one in Atlanta last week when the Braves got jobbed on a phantom infield fly call just before the ball hit the ground in mid-left field. So harness racing does have something in common with baseball umpires and NFL scab refs.

The 3 of them should be looking for a new job!!
I agree 100% thumbsup

They don't call them the 3 blind mice for nothing...

They threw Campbell a bone in the ass when they set him down. I just hope they all get a boot in the ass for doing so!
