Title: Herve can still rate one!
Post by: Headpole Dave on October 07, 2012, 04:39:36 PM
 thumbsup

Herve is racing at Rideau tonight and in the fourth race, he put Done Foolin Witcha on the front end, got good fractions and won by four lengths. Made it look pretty easy! He has drives in the 5,6,8,9,10,12, and 13 races. He should win a few of those as well, just looking at the program.

No disrespect to Herve but it could be an opportunity to bet against him. He'll be bet "just because" potentially creating great value on some others.

Herve just won the Sixth race, coming first up just before the half, than clearing at the head of the lane to win under a hand drive. The old fella has two wins from three drives.

Herve finished second in the eighth race but was placed first after the winner was disqualified for interference.

Herve never could drive a lick. He only held the record for most lifetime wins for decades because he was lucky.

Didn't get to see any of it, puddy. Never met Herve and don't know squat about him other than he always knew how to win races.

Wasn't he the one who drove back to the winners circle in a big race while standing on the seat of the sulky? That was a hoot.

Yep the LBJ with Hot Hitter. I had the full brother to Hot Hitter, Home Plate. Did no good east but at NFLD he was $$$$$$ in the bank. Milburn and the Dolgins wanted him for Raceway Park so they claimed him for 15,000 at that time he was Nfld's highest claim. They ATE HIM!!!! he couldn't do shit until he went to Mich. were he started to race a little better but was no where the horse we had. In 85 he won 13 times for us and made 39,000. Not bad for the year of 85. OH BTW we bought him at the Lexington sale for 5,000
