The Kentucky Horse Park will welcome multiple Breeders Crown winning standardbred Won The West to the Hall Of Champions with a special event to be held on Saturday, October 6 at 10:15am.
"We are thrilled to retire Won The West here to the Kentucky Horse Park Hall of Champions, where his fans will have the opportunity to visit with him for many years to come," said Horse Park Director of Equine Operations and Education Kathy Hopkins. "Mayor Jim Gray has declared October 6th 'Won The West Day' in Lexington.
ITS members are welcome to attend the ceremony. Admission to the Horse Park will not be charged for those attending this event if they use the codeword "careless hal" and shuttles will be provided from the Visitor Information Center to the Hall of Champions

I have actually never paid to get into Kentucky Horse Park. I did pay for Pamela and I to ride some trail horses once though (ok smartasses, I admittedly was 85 pounds smaller at the time).
