Even with a lot of gray in my hair I still have to show a picture ID to buy a 12 pack of beer or a pack of cigarettes (if I smoked) in IL, it's a state law. But anyone can walk in and vote with no ID. In our ultra-corrupt state, the early voting and no ID allow many people to vote several times under different names... even dead people. Chicago is famous for that.

I fail to see how it's voter suppression to verify that you are eligible to vote, and only vote one time.

Bill, it is "supression" because newspapers like the Boston Globe, New York Times, Washington Post, and the Lexington Herald-Liberal say it is. Case in point. In Lexington, to get into the building housing the editorial offices of the Herald Liberal one must present some form of government issued ID. Yet each and every day they preach about the illegality of requiring some towelhead or chili bean to present the same at the polling place. I have to do so----they don't !!

I work with a Baptist Minister that is friends/has collections for a Church in inner city Cleveland.  He said that guys like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the likes are always working against him, because he is trying to teach his congregation that they can get farther in life, but are always told they will never amount to anything and that whitey is always holding them down.

Just the other day I was asked for my driver's license when I was signed in at Northfield Park. And I mean they held on to it till I came back. I feel suppressed....not.

I'll need reminded........but my gift to you for 2013 is you becoming an official groom for the Hollar Stable..................of course Bettor hides her license in the tack room desk so no one will see her picture..........but if you do that I won't post it on the internet like I did hers.

I never got the choice to leave $5. He said I had to leave my driver's license. Cookie never even gives me a badge or makes me get signed in. That guard suppressed me.

The guard who makes Jeremy leave $5 is Cookie's nephew......he is efficient.
