Wally is a Gentleman and a great representative of our sport and both Canada and the USA! From Standardbred Canada:

World-renowned harness racing driver Wally Hennessey will be presented with Charlottetown's Key to the City at the Red Shores Racetrack and Casino on Thursday, September 27 at 8:30 p.m.

Charlottetown Mayor Clifford Lee said Mr. Hennessey will be given the key for his outstanding athletic accomplishments, inspiring career, and for serving as an ambassador for the Capital City.

"The Wally Hennessey name is synonymous with harness racing in PEI," said Mayor Lee. "He was born and raised in Charlottetown with a family that has deep roots in harness racing and horse training on PEI.
